Carpenters
We are seeking experienced carpenters to join our highly skilled and accomplished construction team for primarily residential construction (e.g., remodels, additions, framing). If you have a construction background and are interested in joining a Vermont company with a proven record of success, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the construction industry, work well independently or as part of a team, and possess the necessary skills to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Possession of basic hand tools, a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and reliable transportation is a must. Entry Level Solar/Heat Pump Installer
Building Energy is looking for a motivated entry-level installer to join our Electrification team in Williston. No trade experience required. We will provide on the job training for the right candidate and support getting you certified. You will assist lead technicians on heat pump and solar installation, learn equipment, tools and safety procedures. We are looking for someone reliable, willing to learn on the job, comfortable with physical work and using tools, has good communication skills and a strong work ethic. Apply today!
Weatherization Technicians
Building Energy is looking for laborers to join our weatherization team and build a career in the energy efficiency industry. Experience applying insulation materials such as cellulose and spray foam is preferred but not required. If you are a hard worker willing to work 40 hours or more a week and not afraid to get a little dirty, we want to hear from you! Applicants must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis, work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures, willing and able to position themselves to work in confined spaces, as well as perform assigned tasks while crawling in a crouched/ stooped/ kneeling position for an extended period of time, and able to use basic hand and power tools. You will be responsible for loading materials on and off trucks daily, cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment, and maintaining activity logs.
