Air sealing in the attic was performed to close off significant air leaks

12” of insulation added in the attic, raising the R value from R15 to R40

Dense pack cellulose insulation blown into walls, raising the R value to 12

Crawl space foundation insulated with closed cell spray foam

Outcome

Heating costs were reduced by 37%, equal to 190 gallons of heating oil. Results confirmed by the Energy Co-Op Of Vermont.
