Services

Fogger Testing, Blower Door Testing, Moisture Testing

  • Establish air infiltration issues

Infrared Scan

  • Provide proposals and cost for the integration of renewable energy including solar pv, solar hot water, geothermal and pellet boilers
  • Analyze and compare energy use.
  • Determine main areas of waste and projected efficiency measures

Report

  • Detail all thermal deficiencies
  • Provide in depth analysis of energy use and energy conservation
  • List all remedies with description of recommended work, cost and projected heat savings
  • Digital and infrared photos supporting documentation with annotation

Grants

  • Use Report to attach to grant applications
  • Provides specific details and objectives for grant proposals
  • Detail & documentation give the applicant a clear advantage
  • Detail in the report may be used for construction bid documentation
  • Benchmarks in the report, provide the basis for testing the thermal improvement work for follow up grant compliance and post construction verification / test out.

Our Qualifications

  • We provide the information required to obtain grants and other sources of funding. Our audits/reports have been utilized by the town of Williston and Addison County Solid Waste to apply for grants.
  • We are certified by the Building Performance Institute (BPI) and Efficiency Vermont. This means that our staff has undergone extensive training and passed rigorous examinations. We work in concert with Efficiency Vermont and the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation.
  • We have invested in and use, the latest, state of the art tools. This includes certification by the Snell Infrared Group, in the use and application of infrared technology.
  • We provide a detailed written report of our findings, including fuel savings projections for each recommendation, to make your structure more energy efficient.
  • We have a solar engineer on staff.
  • For improvements being considered, many auditors provide cost estimates from published sources. We provide accurate costing because we have been contractors doing this type of work since 1981.
  • Our audits are far more extensive and detailed than the EPA audit that can be performed on line. You may utilize the data from our audit to enter the EPA 10% Challenge.
  • You can have confidence dealing with professionals who have been working for over 25 years building & remodeling in the local community.
